My food was disgusting.
I traveled just to try the fufu.
Was unsure what to try it with so I asked questions.
The service was ok I asked to try a sample they told me no.
That was a red flag, but I really wanted to try it.
I ordered the egusi with chicken for my protein.
The soup smelled burnt, and tasted burnt.
Like real bad.
That ruined the entire dish.
I washed my hands twice to get the smell off.
Even though it smelled the way it did.
I tried it anyway why not? I paid almost $16.00 for it.
I’m a traveler.
I don’t mind traveling to try new foods.
This was a waste of time, and money.
Maybe I tried it from the wrong place, but it’s very unlikely I’ll try again 0/10

a review from someone who has been wanting tô try fufu and egusi soup for so long; I drove almost 2 hours tô jollof pot tô try the fufu and egusi soup.
overall, the place is very assimilated with the culture, of course it’s not a luxury restaurant, but it is a very comfortable spot and seems very cozy.
The egusi soup and fufu was very flavorful and truly has its own spice and flavor tô it.
It is a bit spicy but nothing too crazy.
If you want tô experience something new and a housewarming introduction tô African culture, this is the place! Also very nice staff!

Firstly they have a great customer service.
The staff is very helpful in terms of helping us understand each food items they have.
However the food itself were horrible.
The meat was very dry and tasteless.
We got the soup as well and they were very bland too not much flavor.
They were also a bit on the pricer end especially the food was not great. The place was very quiet and mostly people do take out.
The place was also very clean too.
But overall won’t be coming back again.
