When I visited Jimenez, the barbacoa tacos did not disappoint! The flour and corn tortillas were soft, and the red salsa added a perfect kick. The cozy atmosphere made it a perfect spot for a relaxed brunch. Just be prepared for slow service...

Jimenez Barbacoa is a cozy gem on the southeast side of San Antonio, perfect for a comforting breakfast or lunch. 🌞 Their barbacoa tacos are a must-try - juicy, flavorful, and worth every bite! I particularly loved the red salsa; it added a delightful kick.
While the staff could be more attentive, the friendly environment and amazing coffee make up for it. Just a heads-up, it can get warm inside, so dress lightly. Overall, it’s a great spot for a quick bite or a casual meal with friends… I’ll be back for sure! 🌮☕️
