September 15, 2024I recently visited Jake's Diner for breakfast and while my expectations were high, I left feeling a bit underwhelmed. I ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese omelette, which was fine, but the eggs tasted like they came from a carton. The hash browns and English muffin were fresh and hot though!
The service was attentive at first, but I felt neglected as I didn’t receive a check-in during the meal. I appreciate the cozy atmosphere, but at nearly $20 for a mediocre breakfast, I’m not sure I’ll be rushing back anytime soon... 🍳
