Waiting a minute to get a worker to take care of us and get seated but I found out that it was because they were short on staff, so I’m not rating on that because if I do it would be 3 stars.
They just need better management to make sure they are cover for every shift with enough people.
Other than that, the guy who helped us was doing his best to clean a table and get our food ready.

The Katy Freeway IHOP lured us in with promises of a sunrise feast, and boy did it deliver! We dove headfirst into the 55+ Rise and Shine Breakfast, senior portions proving perfectly sized for our hearty appetites.
Imagine hash browns, crisp bacon sizzling with promise, and eggs cooked just the way you like them.
Each bite was a celebration of breakfast classics, seasoned with a sprinkle of nostalgia. But the meal wasn't just about the food, it was about the service.
Our server was a ray of sunshine, attentive without hovering, and always ready to refill our coffee with a smile.
They navigated dietary quirks and requests with ease, ensuring everyone felt welcome and well-cared for. Leaving IHOP, we felt the warmth of a good meal and good company linger.
It was more than just breakfast, it was a little slice of morning magic right there on the Katy Freeway.
A reminder that sometimes, the simplest things, done right, can be the most satisfying.

The food was really good but not the service.
We had a gentleman attended us to our table and super nice person.
Then we got a different server which she looked like that she didn't want to be there.
Didn't ask us if you need a refill or how our food taste at all.
To be honest I could have gone to the one by my house instead.
