I swung by Hurworth Fisheries for a late-night fish and chips craving. The casual atmosphere makes it a perfect spot for a quick takeaway. The chips were delightfully crispy, a bright spot in my meal. Unfortunately, the fish suffered from an overly soggy batter that didn’t do it justice.

I appreciated the owners' friendly demeanor - they clearly love what they do. While I might consider a return visit for the chips, I hope the fish can meet those high expectations next time... 🍟
