I recently tried Huang Lou Xing for a late-night fix, and while the casual vibe was welcoming, the food left me wanting more. I opted for the salt and pepper box, which felt a bit overpriced at £17 for what I received. The egg fried rice was disappointingly bland, lacking seasoning and, oddly, actual egg.

The chicken was way too crunchy - my dog even refused a piece! Delivery was speedy, but I won’t be rushing back anytime soon... 🍜
