During my recent trip to Rome, I had the pleasure of dining at Himalaya Kashmir Indo-Pakistani Restaurant, a hidden gem worth venturing out of the tourist area for. Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome and were impressed by the unique interior decor, which transported us to Kashmir. The vibrant colors and traditional elements created a cozy atmosphere, setting the tone for a memorable dining experience. We ordered traditional Lassi, chicken and mutton dishes, and Naans. The service was prompt, and we were served quickly, allowing us to indulge in the delectable flavors. While the Lassi serving size was a bit small, the food exceeded our expectations. The biryani showcased authentic flavors, with a perfect balance of spices, and the serving size was generous. The mutton korma was equally impressive, with tender meat and a rich, creamy sauce. Although the chicken karahi deviated from traditional recipes, it was incredibly tasty, with a unique blend of spices. The garlic naan was freshly baked, with a perfect crunch and flavor. We also tried the Kashmiri tea, which tasted authentic, though I suggest offering it unsweetened to accommodate diabetic diners. What truly made our experience special was the passionate service. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive, ensuring that our needs were met throughout the meal. The prices were reasonable, considering the high quality of food and service. Overall, I highly recommend Himalaya Kashmir Indo-Pakistani Restaurant, awarding it 5 stars. The authentic flavors, cozy atmosphere, and exceptional service make it a must-visit for anyone in the area seeking an authentic Indo-Pakistani dining experience. While it may require a bit of a drive from Rome's tourist attractions, the journey is well worth it.Be sure to try their signature dishes and enjoy the warm hospitality.I look forward to returning and exploring more of their menu offerings.

I am a Indian food lover.Foods here were below average.Decoration were old style, cold atmosphere. The restaurant was men by two elderly man, one of them I guessed its the owner.I wouldn't say he was rude but quite unwelcoming, given a cold face with a cold voice, "sit there" with a pointing finger, wouldn't even show you to the table. When paying for the bill, again a cold voice "there!" pointed to the cashier.Plus point is they understand English.
I wanted some biriyani after all the pizzas and pasta, and this place satisfied my cravings. The biriyani was flavourful and well-spiced.The ambience was also enjoyable with some nice music playing in the background.I arrived during odd hours to have a meal, so it took a while for them to come and take my order. But the food arrived hot and fast after that and it was worth the wait. Thanks!
