Hanaya Sushi is a hidden gem in Sorrento Mesa! 🍣 The owner is an incredibly warm and attentive man who really cares about his customers. We tried the shrimp tempura roll and spicy scallop roll - both were huge and bursting with flavor!

The complimentary edamame and seaweed salad were thoughtful touches. We initially planned on six rolls but were advised that four would be more than enough, and he was right! The atmosphere is casual and trendy, perfect for a relaxing meal. We left with full bellies and smiles, plus some delightful Japanese candy. Can’t wait to return! 😊
