Grill on the Hill

Stopped by today and I was amazed by the decor.
They have so much history of capital hill.
Service was amazing wait staff and management amazing.
Food was great ordered the chicken fried steak breading seasoned just right only one small criticism season the steak as well and it would make it one of the best here in Oklahoma.
That's the only reason for a 4.
Also ordered the bonuts they were amazing.
Definitely will visit again for the all you can eat catfish.

A classic spot that was taken over with care by the Happy Plate group.
Love this place for how much space and the history behind it.
A coworker and I were talking about burgers we loved at our local joints when we were in a site visit.
So we got hungry and needed a great burger.
We happened to be over by Capitol Hill and decided to drop in.
The place is always busy at lunch, but there is plenty of seating.
The menu has just about everything and the burgers are a strong part of the menu.
My coworker was raised in Bartlesville and realized they had a Memphis Burger with brown gravy and French fries.
He thought it was really good and a solid hot hamburger! I got the Chili Cheese Burger and fries.
It was delicious and we both left full and warm inside.

We found this place through Sweet deals of the week.
We have eaten the same thing twice.
Next time we will definitely have to try something different. Both times, the food was on point.

We always enjoyed this place.
They have changed the menu.
They have taken off several items that we always eat here.
We will probably not return.
Its sad.
As my husband said, we hate losing good places to eat.
This time, I ate the burrito.
Had them put sausage in along with the egg and potatoes.
I asked for picante sauce since I don't eat red or green sauce.
That didn't make it to the table.
My husband had a sandwich that was roast beef with green peppers and onions.
They forgot the onions, the green peppers were as big as my pinkie finger and almost raw, were not sauté like the menu said.
