Japanese restaurant, Poke bar
Grey Whale Poke Bowl offers a vibrant taste of Japan with its casual poke bar nestled in Parkhaus Apartments, Lincoln. Known for its delightful poke bowls, this trendy spot is perfect for lunch or dinner, boasting healthy, customizable options. While many rave about the creamy tuna and fresh toppings like mango and seaweed salad, some patrons feel the portion sizes have diminished over time. With wheelchair accessibility and options for dine-in or takeaway, it remains family-friendly and popular among university students. Just be prepared for mixed service experiences, but the flavorful food often makes up for it.

September 17, 2024I visited Grey Whale Poke Bowl recently, and while the food is still tasty, I noticed some changes. The poke bowls are flavorful - definitely try the creamy tuna with Japanese mayo and add some mango for a burst of sweetness! 🍣
However, the portion sizes seem to have decreased over time, and my “large” felt more like a regular. The service could use some improvement, as I sensed some attitude from the staff.
Overall, still a solid spot for a quick and healthy meal, but I hope they can address those portion and service issues soon! 🌊
