This was Haitian food at a very excellent level. The service was really good.Although, I am not sure if everyone was good at understanding English. It will be great if some signs are placed around the food offerings for the sake of persons who are not Haitians. The prices are very reasonable! Great work! Keep it up!
I love this Haitian restaurant and the food is so delicious. This is my family’s go to for authentic Haitian food.My last experience wasn’t too good though. The Tasso is usually good but this time I couldn’t even bite it and finished it it was too hard and not tender. The flavors were lacking. It costs more than the other meals so I hope it becomes consistent again with the taste.I wished they had macaroni and cheese every day but they didn’t have it that day.But overall the food is pretty good.In the legumes I rather seasoned cooked meat not smoked turkey because I don’t like smoked turkey in my legume.
This restaurant provided great service when it first opened, since then there has been a serious decline.Either the lines are extremely long with few staff on hand or they run out of sides at their peak hours of sales and they have to be asked to replenish dishes that are near to the end of the pan.Additionally the customer service is poor. The ladies serving are not friendly-nor do they greet you. They behave as if questions or requests are a bother to them. With so many restaurants available I have decided that I will spend my money where I feel welcomed and appreciated to patronize one’s business.
