At Golden Gate Restaurant, I was excited to explore West African flavors. I ordered the jollof rice and the peanut soup, both decent but not as vibrant as I'd hoped. The casual vibe is inviting, but I felt a bit rushed despite it being a sit-down meal; they charge for seating, which felt unnecessary. On a positive note, the staff, particularly the owner, was friendly and welcoming. Just be prepared for some price surprises! I might return for takeout next time... 🌟
