Gaetano's Deli

Probably the best sub I’ve had in CT.
The combination worked so well, and the hot pepper wasn’t sour at all.
All the cheeses and deli meats are savory, so they add balsamic vinegar to balance the flavors.

The "Stratford and Main" hero at Gaetano's Deli is an excellent chicken cutlet sandwich.
The cutlets are perfectly cooked, and the mozzarella is fresh.
Gaetano's is an authentic Italian deli with cheap prices, making it a great spot for a quick and satisfying meal.
If you’re looking for a good, affordable sandwich, this is the place to go. There is no indoor seating, there is some seating outside on the deck.

I recently bought a few items to take out, the Sophia Loren sandwich with the Ovengold Turkey and Lace Swiss Cheese, lettuce, tomato and Mayo.
I had it on a wrap, available on other bread options, so very fresh and so delicious! I also bought the fried eggplant with mozzarella and tomato, had this on a roll, also excellent.
I also got a small container of the pasta salad with peas, really excellent.
Their service is efficient, their meats are the best, high quality.
Their rice balls are also excellent! A must stop.
They also have some patio tables outside.
It is wheelchair accessible.
Excellent parking in back, too!
