Definitely a place anybody should visit at least once, and then maybe more if you love it.We were so confused when the GPS brought us to some place that looks like a hole in the wall built from an old gas station. My daughter did not want to go in, but we're glad we did.Absolutely unique and adorable decor, lots of ambiance, lots of things to look at.They have a great menu and if we come back, would love to try some different things. We ordered the catfish and shrimp platter with a side of calamari. The shrimp were great, the catfish was pretty good but definitely needs more spices in the batter.Batter.The calamari was a little disappointing.Disappointing.Extremely overcooked and hard and dry, but I feel like that's pretty common in Houston so you might be okay with it if that's what you're used to.Next time, I definitely want to try the chowders or gumbo and some other dishes.Kids will love it and adults will too.
Stopped for a quick quick bite and really enjoyed the vibe of this place.Kinda reminded me of a Bass Pro Shop with all the decor. The service is counter still order your food then find a spot to sit until your buzzer goes off.We had the lobster soup and the fried catfish and shrimp basket.Food was good and overall it was a good dinner experience. If you have a billy bass fish just laying around you can bring it in for some free food.
What a great place.Food was excellent! Atmosphere was visually pleasing. Only downside was the coleslaw...kinda of tasteless but the lobster roll and shrimp made up for it.
