First Watch

The most atrocious restaurant experience I have ever had.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY HERE.
We went on Memorial Day, and unfortunately nothing can excuse our experience.
The hostess was incredibly rude and avoidant.
We waited over an hour for a table, but what was strange was at multiple points there were 8+ tables open, that were not being cleared/cleaned for over 20min.
Once we sat down, the waitress was very kind, but when our food finally arrived one of the eggs benedict dishes was so overcooked (like hard boiled), the other eggs benedict were so undercooked the whites were still clear AND the entire dish was incredibly cold.
Scrambled eggs browned and rubbery, avocado that was brown, and the list goes on.
We ordered a side of grits and the dish it was served in was actually dirty and hadn’t been cleaned before serving.
Finally we were not given utensils, and after asking for some from the runner, she came back with a bunch of loose utensils in partially wet napkins.
None of these dishes should have ever left the kitchen.
We waited a long time because we were told the food was very good, but clearly this kitchen has incredibly low standards.
In total we wasted 3 hours on this experience, then ended up going to get a smoothie across the lot because our food was inedible.

Just the facts - Saturday at 11am.
Was told the wait for two people was 30 mins, it took 50.
Apparently, you can check in online or something.
Server was attentive.
After ordering, the waitress gave us a heads up that “the kitchen was a little behind…” Took 20 mins to get our food.
Food was great, but on par with other breakfast places in town.
Ended up spending $50 for two plates, two sodas and a tip… Louder than normal, had a hard time conversing.
Just not excited about coming back ever.

Matthew is an amazing server! Always crowded so it’s probably best that you join the waitlist to beat people just walking in and waiting. I upgraded my potatoes with the parmesan sauce and million dollar bacon - so good! The eggs…give military eggs and if ykyk😂
