September 06, 2024Empress is a hidden gem on Long Point Rd! 🌟 The shrimp fried rice is simply the best I’ve had since moving from Chicago; it’s packed with flavor and portions are generous. The shrimp egg foo young was impressive too - super close to what I remember!
I tried the sesame chicken as well, which was tender with a sweet heat that delighted my palate. The special rice noodle soup was a comforting bowl filled with chicken, beef, and shrimp in a delectable broth.
This cozy spot offers excellent value, with combo plates around $9.75 - enough to feed two! I’ll definitely be back for more... 🍜
