Great food and service! Authentic food coming from a person who visits a lot of them in Queens, NY.
The price and quality of the food is well worth it.
Love the art work inside too.
And the music is great too being it's from Columbia.
Everything just flowed very well.

This place just gives a bad name to Colombian restaurants. Please avoid if you are looking for traditional Colombian because you won't find it here.. Do not get this restaurant confused because it says Colombian restaurant. I am Colombian, so I can tell you my experience.. Firstly, the customer service is not friendly at all.
In Colombian restaurants, I have been to before they are friendly, I soon found out they are from Ecuador. When you go in, you have to walk around to find the waitress, only to be found sitting at the bar and watching TV with some people who were there.
She didn't even say welcome.
All she said was table for 2 sit here.
The lady just had a very bad attitude, like she was fed up and can not be bothered to work. Saw a couple near us return their food, so we did not have high expectations at all!!! Ordered the sweet plantain with cheese, plantain was hot, and the cheese was cold, was not even melted as how it is supposed to be.
They should maybe also have the option of adding bicadillo to the sweet plantain with cheese.
Mozzarella cheese would go great with this mix. Next, we ordered a bandeja Paisa, this is a typical dish from my region, was okay, but honestly, nothing special about it. The frijoles came separate, not that I mind, but the taste just wasn't like we do them.
They tasted very different. Then it was missing was a steak, it contained what we call carne molida, it was just plain dry carne, not much flavour again to this. It had salchicha frita, which is the Sausages used for hot dogs.
Instead, they should have added actual homemade chorizo.
The arepa was a little raw, maybe because it was too thick or not cooked properly. Being Colombian myself, I was very disappointed and for sure I will not be visiting this place again nor taking family to eat there when they visit. Food was not made by Colombians, so of course, the food does not have the same taste.
They should just stick to Ecuadorian food as that's who it's run by. For sure, they need to improve the customer service.
It just does not make you feel welcome or even want to pay for their service. Parking: It is very hard to find parking on the street so I would suggest using the parking lot next to the restaurant only, if they have space and if you want to try to eat here ... I'm just very disappointed!!!

Highly recommended! It is not one of these obnoxious touristic places where you pay a leg and an arm for something sad and at the same time infuriating.
Here the food is excellent for a fair price.
And do not be alarmed by the look of the neighborhood, totally worth making a trip here to enjoy real Colombian food surrounded by nice Colombian people.
