There food is amazing, however there service is horrible, especially on the phone when you make an order by phone. They answer with an attitude. They need to hire better people.
The food was good. Here is my score on the food: 1-5 stars with 5 being extremely delicious Muchin ☆☆☆☆ It was really good, but they only give you a tea spoon of the sweet sauce that goes with it.What really sucked was that the plate was black, so we didn't even notice that there was sauce until we were almost done with them. Bolon-Pork ☆☆☆☆ I gave it four stars simply because I have had a more tasty one else where. Also there wasn't that much pork in it, instead they place a chunk of chicharon on the side. Bolon-Mixto ☆☆☆☆ It was really good. Also was missing a little meat and cheese Chaulafan ☆☆☆ A little disappointed.Although it was good, for the size and taste, I think the pricing is wrong. It was a small plate and it was expensive.I didn't really find the Ecuadorian chaulafan flavor in it🙁. Guatita ☆☆☆☆ I like this the best, very flavorful and it was nice and thick. Encebollado ☆☆☆ Eghhh.Once again very small plate for price and taste. The taste was just ok.I wouldn't buy it again Picada-Meat ☆☆☆ Disappointed! The meat was really tasty, however they only served literally 3 chunks of pork, like 10 thin strips of steak and the rest was chicken. Not even regular chicken, but mostly it was that chicken fingers type of chicken.😑 Service ☆ Although, the servers working there were really nice, the service was so slow.OMG!!! there were only 2 other tables! There were 2 servers plus their manager. What is the issue?? I had to ask for most things more than 2 times. My table didn't get cleared out until almost an hour and a half later after being done with our food and we piled the plates up. Ambience ☆ The place looked like a whole in the wall. The best thing about the place was the women's bathroom, which is the only thing that looked remodeled and clean. The bar looked so poor, I was afraid to order a drink because my immediate thought was that everything is probably so water down, just like the frozen margaritas they have.It is not a classy looking place. Overall, I tried and I conquered.I will NOT be coming back.It was overpriced and not up to expectations.
What threw me off was the waitress with blue eyes asking for an ID along with your vaccination card.I don't see the point of that.My husband showed it on his phone and he still needed to show his ID.What do you think? He stole someone's phone? We are here to spend money. That's one of the reasons I wouldn't recommend or return.I ordered Bolon with Chicharron, Bolon Mixto, and 2 coffees. My coffee was half full (it doesn't matter if I asked for half and half). The Bolon was okay. There were also 2 little hairs that looks like eyelashes on my husband's plate and on the table. The bill was quite high, I checked and gratuity was added.Doesn't matter how many is dining, they will automatically put gratuity on your bill which is another reason I won't be returning.Lastly, a gentleman came after us and he got his order taken before us.
