We visited Double Happiness Palace with our Szechuan cuisine pro friends again.The decor is wide-spaced and brilliant with cozy ambiance. We shared their Sliced Pork with Garlic Sauce, Salted Egg with Corn, Spicy Chicken, Boiled Fish in Chili Soup and Braised Pork.The portion was decent with reasonable price.Our toddlers loved the flavorful and juicy corn. Their Sliced Pork with Garlic Sauce wasn’t our type since we love stronger garlic flavor.However, the portion was great for sharing. Their Braised Pork looked beautiful but the taste wasn’t for everyone.I think it was soft and juicy but our foodie friends thought it had a strong Chinese medicine taste.
Service was great, food was good and spicy. Interior was nice. If you do not like your food all at once be sure to tell them that ordered 6 dish’s or so it all came in line 10 at once.
The food was great, but I'd only recommend this to you if you're a level 5 to spice on a scale of 1 to 10.This place's food is really not for the faint of heart.The food was quick to come and the servers were the type that just got you what you needed and cleaned up the obvious, not really the chatty type which I like.Nice, wide eating space and nice, bright lighting.
