If you're craving authentic Mexican cuisine, Dos Vaqueros is a gem in Escondido! 🌮 I popped in for brunch and indulged in their chilaquiles with a perfectly poached egg on top. The salsa was deliciously fresh!

This was the first place we found when we were staying in Escondido.
The breakfast burritos are good but there is better in the area.
I tried their rolled tacos yesterday, and it wasn't good.
It's just really bland.
The Carne asada Burrito was good. Service is great here.
Staff is always friendly.
Service is quick.
They have indoor seating.
They also sell ice cream. Overall, it's not a bad spot.

Accessibility: there are a few handicap parking spots in the parking lot with a ramp to get onto the sidewalk.
When coming up to this place, the door is a single pull door, but it was propped open today for people to come inside.
There are tables made of stone/concrete outside to sit at, but the seats are attached, so they don't move and it makes it not so wheelchair accessible.
Inside there are tables with moveable chairs, but because this restaurant is super small inside...long and narrow...a wheelchair would be blocking the only walkway to get to the restroom.
The restroom itself is wheelchair accessible though.
The employees speak Spanish and English. Experience: the young man working here is very nice and welcoming! When entering, the restaurant is super tiny inside but nice.
It is full of cowboy photos, horseshoes, and more (hence the name).
I ordered 5 rolled tacos and one jamaica; it was all good and at great prices.
The drink was 3 dollars for a large and the tacos were around 7 dollars.

I actively avoid places with no drive through, but this place is worth the extra trouble to park and walk in.
Probably the best breakfast burrito in town.
