I stumbled upon Don Pepe's while in McAllen and decided to give it a try - great choice for a casual meal! The ambiance was warm and vibrant, creating a welcoming vibe. I went for the chicken enchiladas, which were tasty but a tad milder than I prefer. The highlight was definitely the fresh guacamole, made to order and bursting with flavor. The service was friendly, though a bit slow during peak hours. Perfect spot for a laid-back dinner with friends! 🌮
