I'd give this place more than 5 stars if I could. It's outstanding! Traditional interior with an outdoor space/seating with Japanese garden. Beautiful! Great food options with a lot of variety. You can't miss. All of it is tasty and worth a try. Domo is doing great things for the Denver food scene and I will be frequently dining here!
Domo used to be my go-to restaurant in Colorado, the one I would recommend to everyone.Sadly, my recent experience there was really disappointing and left me feeling let down by a place I used to love.We arrived around 1 PM, and I was looking forward to enjoying their pork cutlet curry. After my guests finished their meals, I realized that my order hadn’t come out yet.I asked the waitress about it, only to find out that the kitchen had completely forgotten to make my food.If I hadn't mentioned anything, who knows when, or if, they would have noticed.Waiting 40 minutes only to find this out was frustrating. The staff promised to correct the mistake quickly, but another 20 minutes passed before they brought out a dish.To my dismay, it was the wrong one – pork curry instead of the pork cutlet curry I had asked for.I pointed out the error, hoping for a quick fix, but the situation only got worse. The waitress seemed confused and couldn't handle the situation, so she called over her manager. I explained everything to the manager, hoping for some understanding or at least an apology.I told her I’d eat what was brought, despite the mix-up, but I didn't want to pay for their mistake.Instead of addressing the issue with any sort of customer care, she just took the dish away and left me with nothing to eat. So, there I was, left hungry and disappointed, relying on my friends to share their food with me.It was such a poor handling of a simple mistake, and it ruined our lunch. It's especially upsetting to think what would happen if someone were dining alone. They'd be left hungry due to a mistake they didn't make. This visit has really changed my view of Domo.I felt ignored and unvalued as a customer. It's heartbreaking to see such a decline in service and care at a place that used to be known for its welcoming atmosphere and great food.I hope they take this feedback seriously and work on improving their service, because what happened to me shouldn’t happen to anyone else.
Such a great experience. The food was very delicious and the atmosphere is amazing! There are so many cool things to check out.I can't wait to see the garden in full bloom, I can only imagine how beautiful it will be.
