food: incredible! as a southerner, this place really hit the spot! the mac and cheese was seasoned well.they even have sweet tea.their zip sauce is really good.the only thing I would say is their fries were a little under-seasoned. service: extremely friendly.i believe our servers name was Larina.she was amazing.she was able to give us a bunch of stickers (for my scrapbooking) and made sure we got all of our food (even bringing extra cornbread when it was left off at first). atmosphere: we went on a Friday night, and it was pretty busy.they have indoor, bar, and outdoor seating.it also was a little loud just with all the people and music playing.
I'm a big fan of barbecue, so I had high hopes for BBQ Dinosaur after hearing the concierge rave about it.I decided to try their unique burger made with beef and burnt ends. While the idea sounded intriguing, the flavors didn't quite live up to my expectations.
I've been here plenty of times, and the food is always superb.I make it a habit whenever I'm in town to stop here and get lunch. The food is always flavorful and tender from how long they smoke everything. If you are lucky and can find a parking space on the bridge that it's located on, otherwise you will have to walk a little bit but nothing too crazy. It can be loud sometimes. If it's your first time here, get a sample platter.Their brisket and short ribs are top-notch, and house coleslaw. Also not to forget their Cajun corn.If visiting Rochester, this is a must.
