The ambiance made me feel right at home. It's the kind of place where you can relax, savor your meal, and lose yourself in the moment. My visit to Demera was nothing short of exceptional. From the delicious food to the impeccable service, every aspect of my dining experience exceeded my expectations.I left with a newfound appreciation for Ethiopian cuisine and a desire to return and explore more of what Demera has to offer.
Tried this restaurant for the first time.It was a culinary treat! As far as I know, authentic Ethiopian cuisine is served here.My dish was superb, and the tastes I had of others were also delicious. Some spicy dishes, many mild, all with a distinctive Mediteranian/African flavor.Plenty of choices for meat eaters and vegans.I will gladly eat here again, next time I am in town!
I havenât had Ethiopian food in nearly ten years (it was in Minneapolis) but what I had today was even more delicious than I remembered. Went with friends who forgot the name of what they enjoyed at Demera (a year ago) so we showed the waitress a photo and she was able to recognize what it was as well as recommend a larger size to accommodate our group. So much variety: spicy beef, chicken, lamb, spinach, potatoes and zucchini, red lentils, salad, yellow lentils (it was less flavorful than everything else but tasty nonetheless). The injera is something theyâll bring more of so you donât have to worry about running out.And the âbottom breadâ as we called it, the injera at the bottom of the platter, soaked up all the flavors. Staff are nice and friendly; the vibe is cozy and welcoming.
