Finally Went to Damansara after having heard about it for a long time, and the food was great! Starters: - The keropok was a fun, crispy accompaniment - The otak otak was nicely wrapped in a leaf, and was well received by the group (I didn’t have it) - The curry potato puff had a great texture and may have been my favorite dish all around Mains: - The vegan rendang, mee goreng, and vegan laksa both had a lot of depth and were spicy and extremely flavorful.If you have the mee goreng, know that the extra spicy option is legitimately very spicy! - The tofu in the vegan nasi lemak had great texture and seasoning, while the tempeh was somewhat hard and flavorless The service was very attentive and quick.I think the atmosphere leaves a little bit to be desired - there isn’t a palpable “vibe” there, but the place is simple and clean so no complaints! While the per plate prices feel a bit high, will definitely come back!

vegan rendang rice plate: love the blue butterfly pea rice, mushroom sambal, & using jackfruit meat as a substitute which tasted good as well but it was too dry for us personally. vegan laksa noodle soup: not bad tbh but it did not taste like any kind of laksa at all to us… very little toppings & would’ve liked more vegan meat, veggies, etc. loaded taro cake: we liked the concept but it tasted a bit too salty. as a malaysian vegan, i was really excited to try the food here! tasted alright overall, there is room for improvement & growth for sure.my friends & i were also really excited to get the curry puffs to go, but sadly it was limited / reserved for dine-in customers only 😔
AWFUL 😣 Just awful! Food: $25 for this small, overpriced noodles bowl? I can’t accept you can taste the smell of chicken in it.The authentic Laksa broth should leverage the chicken flavor to another level. Tofu was undercooked. The rice noodles were so soft! Bad texture! Service: They asked me if I’m ready for ordering when I was drinking and they asked me if the noodles were good when I was literally eating the noodles! Not considerate at all😤😤 When I asked if I can leave feedback anywhere, maybe in the receipt… they say “you have to pay first.” Hello????!!!! I AM SO DISAPPOINTED ☹️
