I called in on a Friday before my brother's birthday that Saturday to ask for an ice cream cake.
The manager informed me that they require a minimum 3 day notice for cakes so I was resolved to pick one up from HEB.
She generously offered to prepare the cake as long as I went in that same day to pay for it.
She asked me what I wanted and I kept it simple.
An 8" cake with Oreo cookies and cream ice cream.
It was a surprise for my brother! To think that she would extend such generosity at a location I know is frequently busy is exceptional service.
I know I shouldn't expect this again as the restaurant needs prep time, but in this moment it was an amazing display of goodwill.
My brother was happy and surprised, exactly what I wanted.
When we FINALLY cut into the cake it was so delicious.
We always enjoy Dairy Queen ice cream and now we have a wonderful memory of it.
I'm actually sad I didn't take a picture but we were ready to eat! Thank you for taking care of us!!

Just left this place and on the door it just says per the hand written paper hours 11am-11pm, so we walk in at 1030 and a young with no name tag on said his manager said the inside is closed.
He then proceeded to tell us that we needed to leave and couldn’t order inside of there.
As we walked out I told him that there sign in misleading and he goes well do you want to talk to my manger and I told him no because it make sense that we had to leave when the sign says one things but you’re telling me another.
All we came in for was Ice Cream and that was it.
It didn’t make sense that you have this sign up and it doesn’t say you have to go through driver through.
He was very unprofessional and started cruising.
Will never come back to this Dairy Queen again would rather travel to the Dairy Queen in China Grove than this one

The service is nice the food was ok the problem i has Wes with the lettuce.
It seemed rotten
