Restaurant
Family member picked up food. This was not authentic Jamaican food, I'm from Jamaica, grew up in a Jamaican household. The curry chicken is not flavorful, and the cabbage is too crunchy, the best thing is the plantains. The rice and peas is dry, no curry gravy. And the plates are messy when put together. And no there was no festival but online they have it on the menu.First and last time.
This is the best jerk chicken in Tucson.I have eaten at a couple other restaurants around and this one tastes like Jamaica! Has the pan chicken flavor, the sauce that I pairs with jerk chicken.Truly amazing. Also try the homemade juice !!! Absolutely divine.
We ordered jerk chicken and curry goat and both were delightful. We are fans for sure and met some other customers who say they keep coming back because the food is so delicious. The sides were cabbage, plantains and peas and rice - they were all really good too.Highly recommend trying this food truck out.Paulette was the person who served us and she was very nice.I’ve been searching for great Jamaican food in Tucson and am happy to say it’s at this food truck.
