Puerto Rican restaurant
My boyfriend took me here for lunch. He ordered grilled pork chops with rice and beans and I ordered the Con Sofrito burger with a piña colada. Both dishes were delicious, the food was well seasoned, and the piña colada was smooth and creamy.Very happy with my dining experience.
We came for my father's birthday dinner. We came because the food looks beautiful on the menu. They plate the food beautifully.I can't say the same about the taste. The rice is oily and mushy (best way to describe it).The steak was also oily and bland.Who serves skirt steak without a chimichurri sauce if it is going to be so bland. The egg was just as I love it.The maduros were good, not oily. The food is extremely pricy for it not to have that flavor with a name like Con Sofrito.I will say, what some appetizers that were very yummy. We had the empanadas and mini mofongos, which were very good.I doubt I will go back.If I do, it may just be for the appetizers.Although everyone deserves a second chance.Maybe it was just a bad day.I really would hate to pay those prices again for it only to taste just as bad.
Came to this restaurant for dinner and wasn’t satisfied with my experience. The place is beautiful and perfect for pics.Service was great, we had Daliza as our waitress and she always checked on us.However, the food was very disappointing. We had the picadera as our appetizer and it was only 4 pieces of plantains, the chicken chunks weren’t good either, full of fat.For entree I had the steak and egg, I asked for medium done steak, but it was very chewy and didn’t have any seasoning. The other person I was with had salmon and didn’t like it all.It had a strong fish smell.Expensive and not worth it to eat.People were also smoking cigarettes and weed at the tables.
