City Restaurant on Nicolson Street is a delightful stop, especially before a show at the nearby Festival Theatre. I tried their haggis and gluten-free fish and chips, both were comforting and well-prepared. The highlight was the vegan cheesecake - rich and creamy!

The atmosphere is casual and warm, with friendly staff who keep the energy lively even during busy hours. It’s a perfect spot to feel at ease while enjoying hearty fare. Definitely a solid choice in Edinburgh... 🍰
