October 19, 2024I recently stopped by Church's Texas Chicken in Hammond, and overall, it was a solid experience. I tried their famous fried chicken, and it was indeed hot and juicy - definitely tasted fresh! The jalapeno cheese biscuits were a delightful surprise; they had just the right amount of zest.
The mac and cheese could use an upgrade; it felt more like nacho cheese than pasta. Still, the friendly ambiance and quick service made it enjoyable. Family-friendly, and plenty of parking too! I’ll be back for more... 🍗
