Chucho's Red Tacos

This place did not disappoint! My husband suggested we stop in for some taco on Taco Tuesday and it was delicious! We stopped in the dining area and we were able to order from a kiosk.
There were a couple kiosks to order from so you didn't feel too bad taking your time deciding what to get. We got some chips and salsa and cheese, chicken taco Tuesday special, and a chicken burrito combo.
The burrito was massive filled with delicious rice and beans and juicy chicken.
The tacos came with a generous helping of cilantro and onions and some moderately spicy salsa and the same juicy chicken.
Yum! The cheese with the chips is your standard nacho cheese so we mixed it with some salsa to make it more of a queso. The restaurant/dining are was clean and had someone wiping down tables as people left.
There was also a digital board showing which order number was ready, helpful if you couldn't hear them, and you also received a text when it was ready.
Overall, great place to grab some mexican food, we'll be back to try the birria and more!

Very unique place.
No waitresses, you order on screens when you walk in and pick up when they call your order #.
I had the Quesitacos w Birria and bf had Quesitacos w steak, which were much better tasting as I prefer a bit crunchier tortilla.
The nachos and salsa were okay, nothing great.
I didn't like the empanada much, but the Jamaica drink was amazing.
The place was very vibrant, good music and the staff was very friendly.
I'll have to go back for the ramen bowl, and it looks like they might play music outdoors.
Also parking is free and they have painted walls you can take photos with.

It looked better than it taste.
I saw a post on facebook and the food and comments gave rave reviews so we decided to stop in.
The young lady pouring up drinks and helping with orders was sweet.
She let us know right away that you can dine in but they don't have table servers so you pickbup your food when it's ready.
They charge extra for everything but since the sign said all the food was scratch made, I was cool with that.
I ordered the chips and salsa with a side of guac.
Imagine my disappointment when I received my food and the guac was one of those mini cups you get from Sam's Club.
I was clearly expecting homemade guac.
The food had very little flavor at all.
I thought it was just me, but when I asked my son how his food was - he had the birra tacos with cheese - he said they were just so so and that the food was a little bland.
I let him taste the birra chicken ramen bowl I had and he thought that was bland as well.
A little disappointing given that the people on the way out of the restaurant as we were coming in were raving about how good the food was and how we weren't ready for what we were about to experience.
Dude had us hyped up for nothing 😂 Mex Ave in Wauwatosa definitely has way better birra tacos at a way better price.
