We stopped in at Chris' for lunch.
SUPER friendly staff and nostalgic atmosphere.
Prompt, family-like service.
Food, for us, was tasty, but just ok.
Would definitely go back, great vibe! and we enjoyed the experience!

— OVERALL — Amazing place overall! Delicious food, great service, nice experience. Overall Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! — FOOD — Food was fast, I ordered the special hot dog, and was surprised since I have never seen 2 hot dogs in 1 bun! The chili *looked* disappointing, but i have NEVER had any chili better than this! The only part that could be much better is that the bun is VERY dry. Fries were boring, but not bad. Lemon pie was very enjoyable and not huge, but a fair size for it’s price. Food rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️❌ — Service — At first, he (Chris’s son, not sure what his name is) seemed a bit rude, but after a little while he warmed up.
He was happy to talk with us and told a bit about the story of the place.
He was very enjoyable and happy to be there. Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Atmosphere: Looking through the ratings about this place, some people thought that modernizing the place could make business better, but I couldn’t disagree more! On top of the amazing chili, the vibe is a core element of this place.

I really loved the "old school" theme and feel of this place and the customer service was friendly.
There is a "funny" smell as many others said, but it smells more like an old establishment for smell, at least to me during my visit.
The food itself was alright, but the burger was AMAZING.
We tried the hot dog, burger, and chicken salad with fries.
We weren't a fan of whatever brand hot dog is being used, but the sauce is delicious.
The chicken salad was enjoyable and the fries were hot and fresh.
Overall a unique experience and somewhere we would come back to next time we are in the area.
