This is a very fine restaurant; it is dining not just eating out. The service, food and atmosphere are all excellent. I've been twice and the experience has been the same both times. The crowd is overwhelmingly local, thus the restaurant gets busy only after 10pm. They will accommodate a larger party if you are on the early side.
The most phenomenal meal I had in Rome.Khan was a fabulous server. We did not order, he simply brought us his favorite menu items and everything was absolutely perfect.Highly recommend.
We came here for Christmas Eve, after seeing a review. This was a complete tourist trap. The food terrible. The manager or the lead server was very annoying. He was constantly starring at us as we dined, when he brought the wrong thing over he would leave it and insist we try it anyway when we were very clear we did not want it.We asked for a cocktail of which they had all the ingredients, considering there were the ingredients at their bar and on their menu (A vodka martini), they had no idea what it was, which could be a moment of miscommunication but when we expressed it wasn’t correct, he insisted we try it anyway.Beside this, their tasting menu was appalling- with a soggy bruschetta lacking flavour and quality of ingredients.Worst ravioli.Cold stuffed calamari wasn’t too bad in flavour but was accompanied with a burnt green mystery veg resembling spinach.Overall it felt like we were on kitchen nightmares, even looked around to see if there were camera crew.Contemplated writing this review because some of the supporting staff were friendly and in good spirits, but this is just not a good restaurant.
