My wife and I had wanted to stop by Chicago Beef Joint’s food truck over at Sandy Pointe Beech House so Friday we did that.
We ordered an Italian beef (dipped of course with hot peppers), Italian sausage with sweet peppers, and fries.
The beef was dipped nicely but lacked a little flavor.
The sausage was very “thin” compared to the bun, the fries were great.
The person waiting on us was friendly and made our food fresh so we didn’t mind waiting.
The atmosphere there in Holland is not very good, we ended up just eating in our cars because of this.
My wife is from Chicago and we love out Chicago Italian beef sandwiches from Portillo’s so we are slightly bias.
Worth a try when you’re in the mood for some Chicago food.

Stopped in for a late night meal and definitely enjoyed the experience! My wife being from South Chicago Heights has some very strong opinions about the quality of Italian Beef sandwiches.
I will say that we will be returning! And the fries...
come on! Knocked it out of the park.

Omg so glad I found this place on the way through town.
Great Chicago Dogs, and a blues jam on the patio.
Perfect after a day of driving through traffic and construction in Chicago.
The wait staff is amazing too!
