5/5 for the mole and the homemade conchas.As for the atmosphere, it’s colorful and lively, the staff is happy to be there and they demonstrate it with their warmth and friendliness. Now the food was not Mexico City standards, but it was probably the best Mexican food anywhere on this side of Brooklyn.I highly recommend the chicken mole which has a velvety chocolate and nutty taste.
A tad bit busy on a weekend night so we sat outside under the heat lamp.It was warm and toasted and the food came relatively quickly.Portions were good and service was friendly.Guac and chips was ok, I only little bits of appetizers, and the empanadas was niceeeeely done.Shrimp was good for me too.My boyfriend got the platter assemble your own tacos, and the tortillas was nice and homemade.
The waiters are very friendly and the food is delicious.The price is reasonable.Dishes were served very fast too after ordering.Highly recommended.
