Mexican restaurant
When we knew that we were going to be going To Las Vegas, we decided that we were going to look up some places that we wanted to go when we got here. Carolina 's.Mexican kitchen was one that we had seen several different times on social media and it had excellent reviews so we decided to go to try. When we walked in we were greeted and we took a menu.We were able to sit down and look it over and see what we wanted to get. Unfortunately there's only about six tables I believe and only room for about 25 people there and they are super busy.People were walking in and putting in their name to be texted when there was a place for them to sit. We had the chance to talk to Carolina, the owner and she was amazing and super sweet. We also spoke to her husband who was down to earth and so very nice. They have the best Mexican food by far that I have ever had in my life and it is completely authentic. They make all of their stuff from scratch in house. Definitely owe it to yourself to give this one a try!! Just be sure to not go on a Monday because they are closed.
BELIEVE the HYPE!!! Popularized by Instagram and other social media but this restaurant backs it up with amazing Mexican food. Got here when they opened at 11. Owner served us and followed up with us throughout the our stay. I stared with coco love coconut latte. That drink is so good. The shrimp ceviche is delicious.Usually don't see regular beef tacos at Mexican restaurants unless Del Tacos or Taco Bell. But their My Mom's taco is delicious!!!! We love the Camarones ala Diablo- so much flavor on this meal.We shared CHILAQUILES ROJOS O VERDES- yummy. This place usually sell out with their food early- there is a reason why- bro it's legit!!!! Will definitely come back and try the other items in their menu.
Owner response
Thank you so much Raoul!!! Glad you enjoyed our food.
Such delicious food! Such welcoming, charming owners! Such gorgeous handpainted murals (done by the owner Mr.)! We enjoyed the Taquitos Dorados Plate, loaded with Birria ($4.66 upcharge), QuesaBirria Tacos (3), both plates accompanied by their yummy whole Pinto beans and some of the most delicious Rice I've had in any Mexican restaurant in the U.S.One of the items we loved most is their Cup of Carne en Su Jugo (fairly pricey at $9.26, but to be fair, there was more than a cup there, and plenty of meat, and it came with a fresh flour tortilla. The Horchata was very good. Our only criticism is that Chips and Salsa ($6.16) are not free with your meal, but again, their chips are warm and their salsas are excellent. We'll be back for sure.
