Captain D's on Gordon Hwy had the makings of a classic fast seafood joint, but my experience missed the mark. The fried fish lacked that crispy, fresh flavor I was hoping for; it was more rubber than flake. The atmosphere felt tense, and the staff didn’t seem keen on their roles - it was hard not to notice the unwelcoming vibe.

However, I must commend the pleasant cook who was the highlight of my visit!

Cleanliness was a mixed bag, but I appreciated the convenient location. Perhaps they'll turn things around... 🐟💔
