So we went here because it was recommended by someone because they loved it in Vegas. The person taking our order I don’t even know what he was thinking. There were six of us.After each person he said so that will be it and we would say no.And then when you finish your order, he would want to repeat everyone’s order before you.Don’t know why finally told him look.I don’t have any idea what everyone else ordered quit telling me because I can’t tell you if it’s correct but we have more food to order so can we just get through this. The grilled cheese look like something that had been wrapped and stored.I had the Italian sausage sandwich. It was great.Had the coleslaw it was dry.One of the kids had the The turkey with cranberry sauce, blah blah blah it was dry. Then they had Italian sandwiches, but the restaurant had no Italian dressing to go on them. The kids meals were supposed to come with juice boxes. They apparently didn’t have any, so they gave us water cups for the kids, of course no lids.probably won’t go here ever again.
Heard their ad on the radio and thought always liked the place in Vegas so tried it...ordered the Bobby sandwich bit into 3 it and turkey bones...not good...plus sandwich was super dry...also soda machine broken...just ok not as good as I remembered!
I have been trying my best to try a Capriotti's sandwich for some time now, my oldest raves about the Bobbie and how she likes it so. Myself on the other hand gauge all sandwiches/deli joints by their ability to make an Italian sandwich. If you can't make the basic Italian and make it tasty, then why come back for other choices. Basic lil sandwich shop with a counter and limited seating. The establishment was busy with their call in orders and I stood for about 4 minutes before I was even addressed. Small Italian, drink, and chips for $15.But they do make the "voted best sandwich in America" afterall so my hopes were high.Fountain drinks are Pepsi products but I had the tea and it wasn't tasty. Waited for about 5 minutes and my food was ready.Looked like a typical Italian. Not much in the meat department but plenty in the bread and cheap lettuce. I found the bread to be old and stale.I can let that slide if there is that great Italian sandwich flavor.Unfortunately, the meats were almost non existent and the flavor was bland. I may try the Bobbie some time but won't be back for my favorite sandwich from this establishment. Why? Well the best Italian I have found in Tucson is just .5 miles away, I'll stick with great flavor, fresh bread, cheaper price for more, and way better service. Just my 2¢
