Cagney’s Kitchen in Greensboro is a delightful spot tucked away near the Friendly Avenue and Market Street intersection. I visited recently and was pleased with the friendly service and clean atmosphere.

I ordered the meatloaf special, which was tasty, though I felt the mashed potatoes would have been elevated with gravy. My sides, mac and cheese and cabbage, missed the mark - soggy cabbage and bland mac. However, the lasagna I took home was a highlight, hot and flavorful!

Their breakfast menu is enticing, and overall, it’s worth a visit. I’d recommend the meatloaf but swap the sides for something better. Can’t wait to try lunch next time! 😊
