Really enjoyed our after church lunch here.
Everything was prepared to perfection, staff was really friendly and food came out quickly.
Also, as a graduate of LSU, I love the decorations! Greaux Tigers.

Great food, but arrogant restaurant management! There’s NOTHING that I resent more than “hidden” charges, whether they’re from a hotel or restaurant.
In this case, there was a “to-go” charge, as well as a “service” charge – whatever that is.
I have NO problem with convenience stores or restaurants charging me for so-called “extras”, but I expect to be told about these things CLEARLY, & UP FRONT! Didn’t happen in this case.
So – guess what happens? The restaurant clearly doesn’t care, but the server is the one who suffers! $2 tip on a $40 to-go order, when she would’ve normally made $5 - $6 from me. SHAME ON YOU!!! Never coming back.

Dear Sir: The 5% To Go Supply Fee totaling $2 on a $40 order that was charged was very clearly printed on your receipt before and after you paid for the order. The Cafe, like every other restaurant, has had to add such charges to off-set the cost of the inflation. Most restaurants charge up to 10% but we try to maintain some sort of normalcy for our customer base keeping the cost at only 5%. We do not charge hidden "service charges".
Please bring us the receipt showing the Service Charge Fee that you were allegedly charged.

When we first go to the door Misty was so friendly and welcoming food was great and flavorful and waitress was super nice we will come again
