Mexican restaurant
I have been to a lot of Mexican restaurants and it’s hard to find one that makes the food just right! The fried beans were one of the best in the city and the flautas were cooked perfectly. The place is small but cozy and the service was excellent. If I am in the area this is my spot of MX food.
Is trying to eat at all the Mexican places in Chicago doable? I think it’s a hard thing to complete. So let me get into it! The food at Buena Vista Restaurant was surprisingly good! My friend and I got the nachos as I have to say it’s was great. The temperature and the freshness of the dish made you want to have another plate of it.I got the three taco dinner and I was happy that I got that since I normally get it at other places. The services was as expected as it is a small finally owned business so we had to be patient which isn’t a problem for me at all.The atmosphere was like you were back in time. It’s refreshing since not many places are like that.I like retro places and to me it felt like back in the day.Overall, I will say give BVR a try if you want authentic food with a charming wait staff.
Very decent Mexican cuisine.Their free corn chips are very crispy, seems fried before You came in.I ordered their star food, which is very tasty.A very lovely place to enjoy a lunch with sunshine outside the window facing Broadway.
