When I'm traveling for I love coming here.
People are great, food is hot and full of flavor.

We had the chile verde skillet 🍳 which was really really flavorful! Fresh squeezed orange 🍊 juice 😋 was nourishing & tasted great. The huevos Ranchero was good but not exceptional. Pancakes 🥞 were spongy & the batter was made to perfection. Service was mediocre but was polite and did check up on us a few times, which I appreciated.
Great place for breakfast 😋

We were in town for only one night, had been working hard all day, and were both starved but wanted a good sit-down meal.
Boy, are we glad we found Brookfields. Although it was Friday night at 7:00 pm.
we were seated immediately, and our waitress appeared soon thereafter.
She took our drink orders, which appeared almost as quickly as she did.
She was very pleasant and helpful with menu suggestions.
We both had Clam Chowder.
It was one of the best Clam Chowders either of us ever had.
It was made with chunky red potatoes, tons of clams and onions and really great (but not too thick) sauce.
So, so good! For our entrées, my wife ordered the 'Coconut and Panko Crusted Haddock' and I ordered the 'Flat Iron Steak and Prawns'.
The portions were huge, the presentation was exceptional and everything was delicious.
The Haddock was tender and flavorful.
My steak was perfectly cooked and tender.
The prawns were huge.
All our sauces and gravies were obviously scratch made as was the incredibly delectable cornbread which they serve with a bottle of delicious honey without requesting it.
We were impressed by so many aspects of this meal, it is impossible to name them all. Our only issue was the lighting.
It was too bright for such a fine meal.
The price was amazing too!
