Boondocks

When you walk in you have a “please wait to be seated sign”, but there was no greeter up front right away.
She saw and came to greet us.
Our server was right there ready to take our order.
I ordered the Boss Hog bbq rib sandwich.
The bbq sauce tasted as bbq sauce should with a small bite to it.
Just be ready to eat it with a for, The fries were delicious.
My wife had the blackened chicken with mashed potatoes and okra.
It was delicious itself.
I would recommend. The atmosphere was average at best.

Great food exceptional service.
Our waitress was definitely one of the better ones.
We went in Saturday evening about between 5:30pm-6:30pm.
We sat in a booth on the right as you walk in.

I’m so glad that we gave Boondocks a try! We went for lunch, and it wasn’t too busy at all.
The service was quick and friendly (virtually no wait time at all for our food!), and the food was all very memorable and tasty! My wife had a Shrimp Po’ Boy with red beans & rice and I had the Crawfish Shirley over noodles with some hush puppies and jambalaya as sides.
My wife was very pleased with all that she had (I tried some of her red beans & rice and they were tasty), and I was super pleased with all that I ordered too! All of the dishes were pretty much exactly what I was hoping for (and the Crawfish Shirley, though I’d never had the dish before, was pleasantly un-fishy too, which I haven’t always learned to expect from crawfish dishes).
I’ll definitely be coming back.
