This was my first time trying Bonchon, and it instantly jumped high on my list of DFW fast food restaurants. The double fried chicken is extremely crunchy, and the fries are extra crunchy as well.I had the boneless wings and easily rate them above Wingstop in terms of chicken quality.I got half Soy Garlic and half Spicy, both were good. The Korean donuts were really good as well, they’re covered in cinnamon and come with a sweet dipping sauce.Pretty similar to Cinnabon. They also have a variety of different Korean dishes and sides, and I look forward to trying some of those in the future. The cherry on top was the Stubborn Soda in the fountain.I’ve seen it at Jersey Mike’s and Hawaiian Bros, but it’s generally hard to find. It’s extremely sweet pure cane sugar soda, and better than most big brands. They also had Pepsi and Mountain Dew though, if Stubborn isn’t your style. My only issue was the prices, it’s on the expensive side for fast food.Overall though, one of the better places I’ve had in the Burleson/Crowley area, and I’ll definitely be back.

Even though it felt like going to the middle of no where, the area it was in seems up and coming.I do not know how the keep their food so crispy. The chicken(wing/drumstick) skin was soo crispy even with the sauce on it.The pork buns were a sweet, savory, and refreshing combination.Everything paired well each other. The street corn was very interesting. It had Crunchy bits in it, that tasted like funnel cake batter bits? It would pair well with some kim chi, but in my honest opinion I like my kimchi a bit more fermented and flavor. Now the bulgogi was sending me mixed signals.I really liked the flavor of it when you first bite into it.The sauce, the bulgogi, and then the fries.Omg.The fries.HOW DID THEY KEEP IT DO CRUNCHY even after its been sitting under the bulgogi for quite some time. The off part was the bulgogi was a but salter than I would like. But still.Grab a few fries with it, or even some rice and add some radish or kimchi The Korean doughnut was def different, but familiar. Service was great. The employees had great attitudes. The place was clean and I liked the decor. It's cute how the food comes in Tupperware.

Today my SIL and I decided to venture out to the opposite side of Fort Worth to try Bonchon (DFW voted best for fried chicken). The restaurant is located in the newer neighborhood/development.Upon walking into the restaurant, we were greeted right away by the cashier with a smiling face. The place looks clean and gives off Asian fusion vibes.Service was straightforward, fast and friendly. We ordered a little bit of everything to try.The pork belly buns were good! It was sweet, savory, and refreshing with the cucumbers.Bulgogi fries were crispy even with the Bulgogi and sauce on top.Omg the wings were so crispy even with the sauce on it.It would've been more amazing with a little more sauce.Korean donuts were good.I'm not a fan of sweets but the combo of the condense milk and fried dough was pretty good. If you guys are ever around this area, try it out! I definitely would do the 40 minutes drive again just to eat the wings!
