If you are in rockaway, you need to stop by it totally worth it.
Service, staff, waiting time and menu is great.
I came twice before reviewing it.
I travel for work and I am rating them based on other states.
This place is as good as it gets.
yeah they could give a little more essentials for the price, but this is NY.
You budget to compete.
Before you leave check your bag for ketchup, napkins etc.
if not you will not be too happy.
Def recommending this place to friends and family.

Everything is great about this iconic deli but them offering single use plastic bags policy give out in every order is worrisome! specially when they are the go to spot where Rockaway beach goers go to grab their food before steeping in the beach, is it that difficult to make the switch to paper bags and paper containers for a business that has the experience of been here for 40 years?PLEASE BRING A MORE POSITIVE IMPACT TO THE BEACH ENVIRONMENT THAT IS YOUR BREAD AND BUTTER.
And customers like me, PLEASE REFUSE THM AND USE OTHER WAYS FOR CARRYING Thank you #refuseplasticbags

This used to be our go-to bagel place, but this morning it was not it.
The lady taking our order was rude, my toasted bagel was barely toasted, and the bread was cold and dense.
Also, it was almost $8 for that one bagel.
We literally went to dunkin afterwards instead of eating it lol
