I want to first start by saying the atmosphere is beautiful as soon as you walk in.
We are here visiting from VA and have tried many restaurants.
This is hands down by far the best experience/food we have had while visiting Phoenix.
It wouldn’t have been without having Sanders as our bartender/waiter.
It’s hard to get great customer service now a days and not only did he demonstrate that, he was genuine! This man’s passion for Blanco was so evident you would’ve thought it was his place! I got the grapefruit frozen margarita with strawberry added in (x2) the queso dip, and taco salad.
My husband got the street corn and tacos.
Everything was so tasty! Sanders, thanks again for everything and the great experience you provided for us.

Dear Brittany Thomas, thank you for telling us about your recent experience at Blanco Cocina + Cantina - Downtown Phoenix.

Went there without a reservation so we went to the bar while we waited for our seats.
It took any one of the three bartenders over 30 minutes to acknowledge us, not even a "be with you in a second." That is why only 4 stars.
Having said that, I ordered an old-fashioned and it was really good.
The food was also really great.
I felt like the price was pretty low for the quality of food.
We had a party of four and everyone cleared their plate.
The atmosphere was something expected in downtown Phoenix, lots of moving people and loud music.
Overall, I'd go there again, just for the food.

Food and atmosphere were great! We had an outdoor table and tried several of the appetizers and entrees.
Unfortunately, the waiter never came back after the food runner delivered the meals; thereby, we didn't get some additional things we had requested.
I think I could have easily given this restaurant a five 🌟 rating if the service had been better.
