Biutiful By The Lake

It is really beautiful during the evening.
Great atmosphere with a DJ on site.
Really cool interior.
Tasty food and nice staff.
Would recommend for special occasions as expensive compared to other restaurants in Bucharest.

Disappointing Experience in Bucharest's Herastrau Park (Photo attached of the Truffle pasta is from across the road at a venue called iL Locale* > was very good ) While walking through Herastrau Park in Bucharest around 11 o'clock, my wife and I started feeling hungry.
After passing by a few restaurants, we found one with an interesting menu and decided to go in at around 12 o'clock. Upon arrival, there was a sign asking us to wait to be seated, but no one greeted us.
We waited for a minute or two while a couple of waiters glanced at us without offering assistance.
We decided to walk further into the restaurant, and eventually, the manager, a brunette lady, approached us.
She mentioned the dress code repeatedly in a rude manner, and despite making her repeat it three times, her tone remained dismissive.
She visually scanned my wife from head to toe several times and told us we couldn't enter. The restaurant was empty at the time, around 12 o'clock, and it was the beginning of their service.
There was no clear communication from the manager, who was very rude and impolite.
We were dressed casually for a walk in the park, and there was no notice of a dress code at the door or on their website.
Feeling disrespected, we left and went to a different restaurant across the road. From our new spot, we observed several other patrons entering the restaurant we were denied access to, all dressed in casual outfits similar to ours.
Some wore shorts, t-shirts with Mickey Mouse prints, and even very short shorts, yet they were allowed in. It was disappointing that the manager couldn't communicate properly or make any effort to accommodate us, especially considering the restaurant was empty.
Her rude analysis of my wife's attire was both impolite and unprofessional.
Checking other reviews later, we found many similar complaints about the same manager. Although we didn't get to try the food, based on other reviews and pictures, we are glad we didn't waste a couple of hundred euros at that venue.
Instead, we enjoyed our meal across the road, at Il Locale,where we were treated with respect.
Il Locale told us they also have a dress code but because is quite and we are tourists he will kindly accept our visit on this occasion. Also the vegetation on the outside of the venue needs cleaning.

Excellent vibe and views.
A friend really recommended Biutiful and she was totally right.
The food and drinks were excellent and the view of the lake is just amazing.
I came without booking on a Saturday at 12 pm.
It was totally empty but when I left around 1 pm the tables were starting to get busy.
The breeze and calm are a great match, specially after a long walk around the lake.
Didn’t try any local dishes, but a tasty salad with a local beer
