My friends and I went to Bird & Bottle to celebrate a birthday! The manager had the whole patio reserved for my group and was very accommodating.Mo was our server and was FANTASTIC! She was patient, funny, kind, and very welcoming. For a group of our size she met the needs of the entire party! The food was excellent and drinks were flowing.Thank you Mo and Bird & Bottle for a great experience and wonderful day!
Waited years to try this place, and sadly we aren't sure if we will go back. Atmosphere: 3 stars instead of 5 because of where we sat. It's a cute restaurant, but our friend's made a reservation a week in advance and we somehow got the worst seat in the house in my opinion. The table right next to the kitchen door, that was constantly swinging open. There were about 3 empty tables in the room we were in, with one being a table right next to us (not right next to the kitchen) that was empty the entire time we were there. Service: 4 stars instead of 5 because it started out rocky. Our friend's arrived early, not sure how long it took them to get their drinks. My fiancé and I waited over 10min for someone to even acknowledge us.I jokingly raised my hand asking my friends if that's how you get a drink in this place and caught the eye of Jacob who came and took our drink and appetizer order.Jacob continued to check on us throughout the evening.I feel like he should've received the tip we left our server, or atleast part of it.Our server was more attentive after Jacob initially assisted us. Food: 4 stars instead of 5 because of the chicken. We all shared the spinach and artichoke dip.It was okay, the bread was the best part.I ordered the beet salad and crabcakes for my meal. They were delicious. Some of the best crabcakes I have tried. However, my fiancé and friend's each ordered the brick chicken and no one was a fan.The sauce was more of a gravy, and the chicken was tough and hard to remove from the bone. The drinks were yummy and strong. Overall, for the price it wasn't all the hype.
A great midtown hole in the wall with great drinks and awesome food.Placed in an out of the way area, you get the feeling that a lot of people don’t know about this place. It does feel special. The food is great, we had chicken and steak and both were phenomenal. There’s also a healthy amount of cocktails to choose from.We didn’t try all of them, but the ones we did order were great.I plan on going here more often, now that we have discovered it!
