Better Gourmet Health Kitchen

Starting this post off by saying Better Gourmet kitchen is absolutely disgusting.
As a place that prides itself in healthy food they should really wash their produce.
I’m going to post a disturbing video attached to this post and if you choose to continue to support this establishment, stop reading right now.
Specifically the store on Hugeonot Ave. A live insect came off of a piece of lettuce on my fork clutching a piece of crouton.
I don’t care what anyone says about it being tiny or harmless.
If there’s bugs in their food I could only imagine how filthy their kitchen is.
Kicking its legs on my kitchen table and probably screaming for help as am I right now.
Better, ya gotta do better.

We did take out option.
Glad to see vegan options.
I had the incredible burger with avocado, BBQ sauce and sweet potato fries. The menu has a lot of healthy options for vegans, vegetarians, gluten free, etc as well as people with a standard eating menu. Burgers, pizza, smoothies, etc. Their website is easy to use and navigate and has a good amount of variety and options.

First, service on this first experience was great.
The women taking the order were very patient and answered all our questioned while search the long menu.
Having a kid- this was appreciated. The kids pizza is on a wrap "crust".
- tasty but strong grain flavor due to the wrap.
Not bad, just has to be what you like.
My kid liked it. The Prime bowl (steak protein) had a bbq sauce and blue cheese crumbles with sweet potatoes medallions.
All of the flavors complement each other nicely.
The steak was cooked about medium - Slight chew (Which I like).
Good portion size in the bowl. The first time ordering and overall it was good. **Can end up pricey for the meal with add on items - But common for healthy food options.
So in that sense I would say it's on par for the type of food.**
