This place was top-notch! The server was attentive and kept us happy.
The food was amazing! The sauerkraut was fantastic, and honestly, one of my favorite things.
The beers were flavourful and fresh, and the wine was crisp and sweet.
It was just a great way to have an early dinner with the family.

Some months ago, my coworker and I noticed the lights on in this place and decided to give it a try after work.
I liked the beer and the smoked cheese sausage I tried.
Since it was right across the street from work, I decided to go back in next week after my shift was over and I've just been going back week by week ever since.
I became a Stein member and have gotten to know the staff very well.
The stein club comes with a number of benefits including access to special dinners (the photo of the whole roasted pig here) which are complementary on occasion.
I do not have much context on authentic German food but what I have tried here I really enjoy.
The American food (burgers, wings etc) are all fantastic and aided by the fact that they are not frozen.
Chicken is fresh fried at the time of order and the ground beef is made fresh each day with a mix of chuck, brisket and short rib and that food quality is felt and tasted.
Price points are good for downtown Tacoma and the two bartenders have excellent consistency between each other.
I love being here and look forward to making more great memories and meals here.

This place is amazing! We used to drive from Olympia to their Renton location on a monthly or even bi-monthly basis years ago.
So excited that they finally opened the Tacoma location so we don’t have to drive so far.
Well worth it! There are so many items on their menu that look good and my wife & I will be back often to keep trying them all.
We have yet to find anything we don’t like and I’m a picky eater.
